Theater and film have always been my favorite ways to learn. I'll admit that this was one of the Sunday comic strips I skipped as a kid, but it turns out it was written by one of the first female comic strip writers, Dale (Dalia) Messick! And that Ms. Messick's grand daughter is a playwright who I'd worked with a few years back and is now writing a play about Brenda Starr- and it's gotten some attention. More to come...
