Euphemism! Booked a role on a "new Netflix show"!

10/25/2016

It's been a great month for roles, and for booking things I can't talk about! Love in the time of NDAs...I can't even bring myself to post a 4th Netflix logo in a row.
This is a very exciting new show, bringing together some different worlds and I'm thrilled to be in the middle of it. I'll post more details when, well, when it's not illegal. And an airdate!

It's official. I'll be back to that "hit Netflix show"

I got the call- I'll be coming back and getting to explore the character and relationships even more. I'm very excited for this on so many levels. I even got to do some ADR on the first episode so i got a sneak peek and it looks great! Can't wait for it to go live...next season.

(I had to use another Netflix logo, just for variety)

An amazing shoot on that "hit Netflix show"!

What an incredible group of people. And one of the oddest things Ive ever done for camera. But it was the first time I got to wear something other than a suit on TV! Very "other".
I wish there was more I could say, but I did hear it whispered that "we'll be back here quite a bit this season". So that's something to look forward to...

Booked a possible recur on a "hit Netflix show"

I'm very excited that I'll get to be on this show, even if I can't yet say what it is. NDA's are tough, man. I'm not sure if i'll be coming back, but I have a hunch- either way, it's a fantastic role and a great opening scene. I'm doing some very weird things. Stay tuned!

I'm in the season 4 premiere of "Inside Amy Schumer"!

4/20/2016

It was a fantastic shoot, with some old and new faces. Ryan McFaul directed again, and still so much fun to work with. I'd expected to see Michael Torpey as my partner in crime but when I got the call-sheet I discovered he must have had a conflict. I was paired instead with...Chris Parnell. Not a bad replacement.

Comedy Central is nice enough to air their episodes online as well, so you can watch it here, episode 4.1 "The World's Most Interesting Woman In The World." Our sketch starts at 2:53 (1:38 for the always helpful intro interview). It also airs tonight on Comedy Central. "Fooling Around Chicken", raising sex-avoidance to competition level sport.

I'll be "Inside Amy Schumer"...again!

I got a lovely surprise on my voice mail- the producers of "Inside Amy Schumer" asking me to come back for another sketch! I'm "reprising" my role as a sports commentator - for an even more serious sport this time. And a bonus- they wrote my name into the script. Yes, I'll be playing "Simon" the sports commentator. Can't wait!

"Unforgettable" 4.3 is airing this Friday 12/4

I got a sneak peek at how the scene turned out when I went in to do some ADR (they wanted to add a line for clarity- see if you can figure out which one when you watch!) and I'm really happy with it.
Check it out on A&E this Friday night at 8!

My mom always wanted me to be a lawyer (some combination of a good job and putting my smart mouth and argumentative mind to good use) and she's been getting her wish in spades- at least on TV. I play Bernie Steinhardt, a mob-lawyer with all the answers who likes to rub it in. Opposite EJ Bonilla and George Katt (as my client), it was a fantastic and tight shoot, can't wait to see how it turns out.

"Motion Sickness" now on iTunes!

This film I shot several years ago is now available online! The very trippy story of a yeshiva student Shem Mochin, who is experiencing some physical problems that may or may not be rooted in his psyche, and goes on a journey to heal himself that may or may not take place in reality. I play Bentzi, Shem's childhood friend and also his doctor, who may or may not have Shem's best interest's at heart.

Offered a role in Jon Stewart's "Night Of Too Many Stars"!

Produced every few years, this show performs live at the Beacon Theater and is then broadcast the following week on Comedy Central, as an autism benefit. I play a lawyer in the infamous "Wheel of Rudd" sketch with Paul Rudd. It was an incredible evening for a good cause, and I got to shake hands with some childhood heroes (Weird Al gave me a hug).
